About Our Roadmap
Did You Know: GameChanger has released 31 new features in 2026? Welcome to GameChanger’s Feature Roadmap! We created this board to give you a behind the scenes look at how our product is constantly evolving and getting better. Your feedback is incredibly important to us, and this is your single, always current place to see what we have shipped, what we are building, and help influence what comes next. How to read this board: Feature Ideas: This is a place where your submitted ideas are placed. Here, you can also upvote and comment on feature requests. In Progress: These are the features currently being built by our team. Recently Released: A running log of shipped features over the past two quarters. A few important notes: No Timelines: We do not attach specific timelines or release dates to any features. Subject to Change: This roadmap is not a binding commitment. Product priorities can and will shift based on user needs and business goals. Not Everything We Are Working On Is Here: For various reasons (legal, competitive, or sometimes we just want to surprise you) we do not display all features the team is working on. How Votes Influence Development: While we love seeing which ideas get the most upvotes, please keep in mind that a high vote count doesn't mean a feature will be built right away, or sometimes at all. Prioritizing what to build next is a complex balancing act for our team.

Our team reviews all submissions regularly. Ideas that align with our product vision will be drafted into cards and added to the "Feature Ideas" list. (Note: While we read every single submission, we cannot add every request to the board. We do our best to prioritize features that will impact the most users!) Choosing What We Build
We love seeing your ideas! While we closely track the features with the most votes here, it's not strictly a popularity contest. Our product team constantly gathers feedback from a lot of different places, including user testing, surveys, convention conversations, and Community feedback. On top of that, we also have to factor in strategic business decisions, technical feasibility, and what aligns best with our long term company goals. Your votes are a huge piece of the puzzle and help point us in the right direction, but we weigh all of these inputs together to decide what gets built next.

Native Streaming TV Apps
The development of native GameChanger apps for streaming platforms like Roku, Apple TV, and Amazon Fire TV, allowing at home fans to easily stream games directly on their televisions.
Enhanced Play Editing
Gain more control over your scorebook with expanded editing capabilities. This feature would allow scorekeepers to easily modify, correct, or adjust a wider variety of plays after they've been entered, ensuring accurate stats even if a mistake was made during the action.
Customize Homescreen Teams
Ability to reorder and/or pin your favorite teams. Choose exactly which teams appear at the top of your app home screen and in what order, making it quick and effortless to jump straight to the squads that matter most to you.
Game Clock Visible to Fans
Display the active game countdown timer directly on your live video streams and animated GameStreams. This keeps remote fans, parents, and followers fully informed on how much time remains in timed baseball and softball games.
Retain Player Stats After Team Removal
Preserve a player's historical data when they leave or are removed from a team roster. This would ensure players don't lose their past performance and can still add those stats to their personal career profiles.
Pinch-to-Zoom Video
Get a closer look at the action on the field. This feature allows viewers to manually pinch the screen to zoom in on specific areas of a live stream or recorded video, ensuring you never miss a crucial detail during the game.
Instant Replays
This feature allows viewers to immediately rewatch important plays right on the live broadcast, bringing a professional sports network experience to fans watching from home.
Picture-in-Picture (PiP) Video
Minimize the video player into a small, floating window that you can reposition anywhere on your screen. This allows you to keep watching the stream while navigating other parts of the app or multitasking on your device.
Live Activities Enhancements
Ability to customize your lock screen by choosing exactly which teams trigger Live Activities. Additional game info such as outs, count, and baserunners. Bringing the feature to Android devices.
Polls in Messaging
This feature could allow any authorized team member or coach to create a multiple choice poll directly within a chat thread. Users would be able to input a question and team members can tap to cast their vote.

Scorekeeper Ability to Schedule Games
Allow designated scorekeepers to independently schedule games and set up starting lineups before the first pitch. This reduces the administrative bottleneck on game day by letting scorekeepers prep the app themselves without needing to bother the coaching staff.
Android Pregame Lineup Sharing
Ability for Android users to enter an opponent's lineup directly from the Event screen. Android users would no longer need to jump into scoring mode early just to set up the other team's roster.
Player Season Insights
View comprehensive, data driven takeaways based on a player's performance across the entire season. Instead of game-by-game snapshots, track cumulative stats and long term trends to see how your connected players are performing and developing over time.
Quick Navigate to Opponent (Android)
This feature is live on iOS and gives users the ability to tap on an opponent's name, and be taken directly to their GC home screen. This provides instant access to their roster, stats, and recent games with just a single tap.

Moveable Scorebug
We introduced the ability to move and resize the scoreboard! Check it out below. • Moveable Scorebug: No more blocking the action. You can now drag and drop the scorebug to any part of the screen • Resize on the Fly: Minimize the scorebug to see more of the field, or maximize it when you need to see the details clearly (hitter/batter info included) • Split Screen Mode: Slide the viewer to show the live video on one half of your screen, while keeping the plays and box score open on the other half.
Improved Opponent Lineup Flow
Team Staff on iOS can now enter an opponent's lineup directly from the Event screen! You no longer need to jump into scoring mode early just to set up the other team's roster. Even better? You can now scan the opposing team's QR code right from that same screen to instantly load their lineup. Coming Next: Android support is on the way, along with another closely related feature that gets requested here a lot.
Stats By Position
Stats by Position is now available on the player stat pages on both Android and iOS! (coming to web soon) Users can now see how a player performed at each position they played this season, with stats (assists, putouts, fielding percentage, etc.) broken out row by row for each position on the field.
Team Sponsorship Logos (BETA)
Team Staff can now upload a sponsorship or team logo directly on live streams! Upload a sponsor's logo to help fundraise, or just display your own team logo! Where to set it up: Logos can be uploaded from the team settings page, the team video page, and org. settings. Persistence: Set it once, and it will automatically show up across all future streams for that team/org until you change it. Available to all iOS and Android Team Staff. Whether you want to sell a digital sponsorship slot to a local business to help cover tournament fees, or simply want to proudly display your own team logo in the corner of the broadcast, this tool puts you in control. The custom overlay will appear seamlessly on the video feed for all viewers watching from home, providing a professional broadcast feel and a high visibility opportunity for community sponsors.
Hi-Def 1080p Streaming
Enjoy higher quality live streams on HEVC (high-efficiency video coding)-compatible mobile devices. For compatible devices with a supportive network connection, the person setting up the live stream can now select the option to broadcast the game live in 1080p. That means viewers will enjoy full HD video in real time, and the archived game film will also be saved in 1080p for ease of review.
Live Activities on Lock Screen
Live Activities in the GameChanger App puts live sports scores and game status for the teams you follow directly on your lock screen, updating continuously from the first play to the final out. No unlocking your screen and no opening the app. Simply glance at your phone to know exactly where things stand in the game you’d otherwise miss. It works across every sport scored on GameChanger, and it’s yours at no extra cost. Another win for everyone who has a reason to care about the game. Learn more here
Defensive Innings Played
Defensive Innings Played Tracking provides coaches and team managers with automated, per-player and per-position breakdown of defensive workloads to ensure compliance with league playing time mandates and optimize player development. Learn more here
Android Situational Stats
Bringing our Situational Stats feature to Android users. As a Staff member or confirmed member of a baseball or softball team, you will be able to access situational statistics on your Android device! This is a new set of season stat tables that break down team and player performance across key game situations. Coaches can analyze results by factors like count, batting order position, inning, outs, runner(s) on base state, score situation, and batted ball type, helping them understand how performance changes in different moments of a game.
Pre-Stream Network Check
Automatically test your upload speed before going live to get a personalized recommendation for the optimal streaming resolution. This helps ensure a smooth, stable broadcast tailored to your current connection.
Face ID Login
Securely access your account using your device’s built-in facial recognition. Ditch the passwords and get into the app faster and more securely with just a quick glance, so you can get straight to your team's action.
